Ashwin Ramani
Lead Pastor
About Ashwin
Ashwin assumed the role of Lead Pastor of West Park Church in 2024. Raised in a Hindu family in India, he is the first in his family lineage to become a follower of Jesus Christ. Since immigrating to Canada with his wife Aboli in 2009, Ashwin has dedicated himself to ministering in a multiethnic context, driven by a deep desire to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ and draw closer in their walk with Him. Prior to coming to London, Ashwin served on the pastoral staff of Centre Street Church in Calgary for thirteen years.
Ashwin is committed to proclaiming the unchanging truth of the Bible without compromise. As Lead Pastor, he provides vision and direction so West Park can shine the light of Jesus brightly in the city of London and beyond. Ashwin graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He did his graduate work at Ambrose Seminary in Calgary, Alberta.
Other Interests
Outside of ministry, Ashwin finds joy in spending time outdoors with his wife and four children, cherishing moments of being together as a family. As a Cricket enthusiast, Ashwin's love for the sport shines through as he cheers for the Indian Cricket team with fervour. He is also an avid student of world religions and loves talking about Jesus with people of different faiths.
Corey Brown
Pastor of Worship Ministries/Young Adult Ministries
About Corey
Corey has been at WestPark since July 2014, and is in
charge of setting up the Sunday morning worship services at West Park. He is so thrilled to be a part of all that God is doing in growing people to become more deeply committed worshipers.
Other Interests
Corey is married to Caitlyn who works at Compassion Canada, and they have 2 boys Campbell and Cieran. In his spare time Corey plays golf, hockey, loves to read, and is also a huge movie fanatic.
Madelyn Caskanette
Administrative Coordinator
About Madelyn
Madelyn has been a part of WestPark since she was a child. She has a passion for God’s Church and a desire to serve anyway she can. While this often takes place through music ministry, she is excited for her new role as Administrative Coordinator where she can serve the church using some of her other gifts. Madelyn graduated from Heritage College and Seminary with a Bachelor of Religious Education, as well as from Fanshawe College with a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management.
Other Interests
In her spare time, Madelyn enjoys reading, furniture refurbishing, and spending time with family. She also loves any chance to get away to her family’s cottage in the Algonquin Highlands, where God’s beauty displayed in creation is on full display.
Neil Chotai
Pastor of Adult and Language Ministries
About Neil
Neil oversees a diverse portfolio which includes all adult age groups, discipleship, pastoral care and language congregations. He has been here since 2015 and is excited to see what God is doing in the lives of people. Neil loves to see people begin a brand new relationship with God, seeing them grow deeper in Christ and realize their destiny that God has given them. Neil has a Bachelor of Theology in Pastoral Ministry and has pastored in Ottawa, Toronto, England, Whitby and Woodstock in a variety of churches and ministries.

Neil loves spending his free time with his wife & kids, and loves to travel and explore new places.
Joe Chou
Associate Pastor of Chinese Ministry
About Joe
Joe has been the associate pastor of the Chinese Ministries since March 2013. His primary functions include preaching/teaching, leading, and shepherding among our growing Mandarin-speaking congregation. Joe grew up in an atheistic home in Taiwan and came to the United States for graduate studies in computer science. After a successful career in that field, God graciously saved Joe and eventually called him into vocational ministry. He received a Master of Divinity from Overseas Theological Seminary in San Jose, California in 2004, then pastored for about six years at Monterey Chinese Christian Church in California and Chinese Christian Fellowship Church in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Other Interests
Joe serves alongside his wife Amy, and they have a young adult son. He enjoys exercising, watching sports, and singing/listening to music.
Bill Dakin
Director of Youth Ministries
About Bill
Bill was born at young age and grew up in a Pastor’s home. Bill’s dad was the first full time Pastor at West Park. He has been involved in Youth Ministry for over 40 years in many capacities and in many different settings both locally and internationally. Bill and his family spent a year in Bolivia South America, where Bill served as grade 7-12 Bible teacher and the school chaplain, as well as training youth worker while in Bolivia. He is always excited to see students take the next step in loving and serving Christ.
Other Interests
Bill and his wife have one daughter Mikayla. Bill loves short walks with his wife Linda, and attending birthday parties. When not doing either of these things he loves to travel and encounter other cultures.
Mikayla Dakin
Youth Ministries Administrative Assistant
About Mikayla
She learned at a young age what it meant to serve, from going and doing Missions in Bolivia and Guatemala to locally in Canada with a family organization we started in honour of my Bumpa (Douglas Dakin) who was the first Pastor here at WestPark in 1960 to now be able to use that same mindset to serve our YTH and the YTH team.
Other Interests
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, baking and spending time with family. She also loves to travel, experience other cultures, and someday hopes to visit each country.
Andrea Drager
Receptionist / Facilities Coordinator
About Andrea
Andrea has been part of WestPark since she was a newborn, originally attending the old church before transitioning to its current location. Growing up with grandparents and parents who actively serve at WestPark, Andrea has seen firsthand the fruitfulness of humble service. With her own servant’s heart, she is always looking for ways to cater to those around her, often working behind the scenes to support peers. Andrea’s background is in Interior Decorating with a post-grad certificate in Event Management both acquired from Conestoga College. During the pandemic, she also enrolled into WPIC to receive her Wedding Coordinator certificate. Andrea is anticipating her new role with the church as the Reception-Facility Coordinator to help support congregants and ministries.
Other Interests
When Andrea has spare time, she is often found behind a book, on the diamond playing softball or spending time with her loved ones. She loves to write and has recently taught herself how to hand embroider.
Kimberly Enns
Director of Children's Ministries
About Kimberly
Kimberly joined the West Park Staff in May 2012. Kimberly gives solid leadership to our KidsMin Program from birth through grade 5. She has a passion to see kids come to know and love Jesus and grow in their faith and it shows! She leads a solid team of over 300 Volunteers and is excited empower and equip people to be all God designed them to be.

Kimberly and her husband Ryan have five amazing kids that are serving Jesus around the world…and they are proud Grandparents too. Kimberly loves to laugh, take long walks, host events in their home and play a game or two of Pickle Ball!
Brittany Hopkins
Children's Ministries Assistant
About Brittany
Brittany is very excited to be in the role of Children’s ministry assistant here at WestPark. As her own children sing ‘Our God is a great big God and he holds us in his hands’, she has a passion to see kids live into this truth and to know they are loved and held by God, who created them with a plan and a purpose for their life. She has worked alongside little ones and their families in various capacities over the years and feels truly honoured to be able to serve and support the families of WestPark as they deepen and explore their faith in Jesus Christ.

Brittany is married to her high school sweetheart Jeff and together have three children, Charlie, Ben, and Sawyer. Their happy place is at the beach or on the soccer field. In her spare time she loves testing out new recipes in the kitchen and sharing them with family and friends.
Harvey Katz
Pastor of Evangelism
About Harvey
Harvey Katz is the middle child of three children, born in a Jewish family whose father survived the Nazi concentration camps. He was sent to a private Jewish Day school where he learned the language, customs and culture of his people. At age 16, Harvey was drawn to the person of Jesus of Nazareth and received Him as his own personal Messiah.
Other Interests
Harvey loves to share his faith in Jesus with those willing to hear. He also loves to teach the connection of the Old Testament to the person of Jesus. Harvey is married to Diane and they have three children and six grandchildren.
Ben McVittie
Assistant Director of Youth & Tech Ministries
About Ben
Ben has been a member of the WestPark’s staff team since 2020. Originally joining the team during the pandemic to assist with video production for online services, his role has shifted since then. Today, Ben contributes to both Youth Ministry and Tech Ministry, combining his passions for leveraging technology to support the church's mission, and empowering the next generation to be faithful followers of Jesus.
Other Interests
Ben is a movie buff, photographer, and coffee fanatic. In his free time, he enjoys going on walks, reading, and listening to podcasts. Ben has a heart for church unity and equipping Christians, especially the next generation, in navigating challenging cultural conversations with grace and truth.
Mark Namourh
Associate Pastor of Arabic Ministry
About Mark
You can call him Mark - his name is Mwaffak Namourh. Mark came to Canada with his family (wife and two kids) as Syrian refugees. But, before that happened, Mark and his wife were praying that the Lord would open the door for them in Canada to serve Him. That’s why they have been here at WestPark since July (2017), because the Lord called them to pastor the Arabic congregation here. Their goal is to convey the knowledge of the glory of God through the Gospel of Christ among Arabic speakers of all backgrounds in London, Ontario.
Other Interests
Mark loves to spend his time reading theological books and visiting countryside places. He has a certificate of art in theology and hopes to continue his study in the future.
Kevin Norcross
Pastor of Next Generation & Outreach
About Kevin
Kevin is very excited about his role at West Park and has been part of the church since April 2015. He oversees children/youth/young adult/family ministries as well as local and global outreach. Kevin has a Bachelor of Theology specializing in leadership and has had the privilege of serving in church ministry for over 30 years including student ministries, leadership development, preaching and leading worship, as well as leading several mission trips.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending family time with his wife Kylie and their five children, Kaden, Jayla, Mekhi, Caroline, and Ava. One of their favourite things to do is go fishing together, catch big fish, and brag about it on social media :)
Mekhi Norcross
Youth Ministry Associate
About Mekhi
Mekhi has grown up at West Park church since he was ten years old. He has served in various areas around the church, but primarily within the youth ministry. He has been working with the students for many years and enjoys it. God has put a burden on his heart to show God's love to the youth of London. He is currently working towards a Bachelor of Theology at Heritage College and Seminary. He is also on the team as "Youth Ministry Associate" with the goal of serving the students.
Other Interests
Mekhi enjoys fishing, music, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys playing sports like volleyball, golf, and basketball. Mekhi enjoys cooking food like steak, but only when he gets to eat it. Mekhi would love to attend an NFL game one day.
Rick Reid
Director of Operations
About Rick
Rick and his wife Tena have been attending West Park Church as members for the last 12-years. Rick assumed the new position as the Director of Operations in June 2024, having previously served as an Elder and CFO for the church. During Rick’s 45-years in senior management positions in the aircraft industry he has gained the background and experience necessary to support the church in this new role.
Rick has the desire to facilitate the practical needs of the church enabling our Pastors and other ministry staff to concentrate on their area of ministry.
Rick enjoys time with his family, travelling and exploring new regions of God’s world with Tena.
Stephanie Roseborough
Graphic Communications Specialist
About Stephanie
Stephanie is the Graphic Communications Specialist at WestPark Church. She has an Advanced Diploma from Fanshawe College in Graphic Design. Stephanie is in charge of web communications, e-news campaigns, sermon and ministry graphics among other things. She is grateful to be able to witness how God is using her skills and talents to glorify him in her faith.

She has a small freelance business on the side where she enjoys working for clients. She enjoys spending time with her husband Liam and hanging out with family and friends in her free time.
Mikhaila Rowaan
Database Manager/Buddy Coordinator
About Mikhaila
Mikhaila came to WestPark as a Jr High student with her family. And she is the only person on staff who has been hired by WestPark 4 times! Originally as a summer intern during university, she served for 3 summers and then in 2020 returned to take on a special project, the migration of our database. Currently she is moving us forward through the management and development of this new database, making it a vital tool for all ministries.

Mikhaila is married to Alex and they have one daughter, Cecilia. In her free time, Mikhaila enjoys crocheting and other crafts and evenings at home with family and friends for games and movie nights!
Jackie Shaw
Director of Women’s Ministry
About Jackie
Jackie began attending West Park with her family at the age of 8. West Park has been instrumental in her life and walk with the Lord. She attended Bible College at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago which sparked her desire to work in church ministry. Jackie has been on staff since 2003. She has held several different roles but has most recently become the Director of Women’s Ministry. She is excited for this new opportunity to develop a ministry that will encourage women to grow in their faith and to deepen relationships with one another to encourage and direct each other to Jesus.
Other Interests
Jackie and her husband Rob have been married for 28 years and have three young adult children (Lauren, Claire, and Noah). Jackie loves to read, sing worship songs in the car, and spend time with her family.
Galen Trafford
Director of Tech Ministries
About Galen
Galen Trafford is our Director of Tech Ministries and has been serving at West Park Church since Spring of 2013. Galen studied Audio Engineering at The MetalWorks Institute and spent time working in corporate staging and AV sales. Galen’s position includes managing the AV needs for the church to ensure that all ministries are well equipped. He also leads the Worship Tech team for Sunday mornings and manages IT, maintaining computers, network, phones etc.

Galen is married to Andrea and has 2 sons, Grady and Brychan. He is often called an “old soul” for his appreciation for classic movies and rock n’ roll.
Mario Vaquedano
Associate Pastor of Spanish Ministry
About Mario
Pastor Mario joined West Park in September 2015. On December 6th of the same year, the Spanish Ministry was launched. Under Pastor Mario’s leadership, the ministry has grown numerically, and spiritually. What excites him the most is the fact that WestPark has become a hub for multicultural integration, and at the same time, the opportunity to grow is endless. Pastor Mario has a Bachelor in Theology from the College of Theology in El Salvador.

Mario is married to Angelica Munguia and has two wonderful children, Angelica Belen and Mario Josue. They enjoy doing ministry together inside and outside of the church.
Carole Verdun
Director of Connection and Local Outreach
About Carole
Carole’s role is director of connections and local outreach. She loves connecting newcomers into life at West Park where they can find a place to belong and grow. She is passionate about seeing WestPark church play an active role in our community as we individually and corporately live out the Great Commandment to love our neighbours as ourselves. Carole and her family have been attending West Park for 20 years and loved being part of the ‘old church’ on Royal York Rd. and the transition to the new. Carole attended the University of Waterloo, receiving an honours BA in Social Development Studies and has worked in a variety of fields encouraging, supporting and connecting children and adults.

Carole and Alex have 4 grown children and she loves spending time with them, their spouses, partners and children. In her free time, she enjoys walks, good coffee, books, exercise and family.
